Engine number is on the block, so u change ur block then it deem you engine swap, might have to go thru the licensing sh!t

You can use the b18c5 block in Australia. If your unaware, the b18c5 motor has 10:6 compression compared to b18c7 11:1

I am pretty sure you do, otherwise your engine number won't match with the system.

It depends on the condition of the short block, personally I would rebuild the whole short block. Hone, shave deck, crank polish, new bearings and rings.

The long block I'm gotta get is in good condition. Doesn't blow smoke etc.. But my main question is above. Thanks for that hint buddy
