Hi all,
so I've gotten quotes on two tyres, and I'm not sure which to go with
Kumho KU36 for $752 Fitted
Goodyear Eagle F1 Directional 5 for $750 Fitted
Which would you pick and why?
They're mainly for street use but might see a little track.

I''d buy neither, Federal RSR is a better tyre that a Ku-36 whilst wearing at a similar rate. What size are you looking at ?
I payed $600 for 4 RSR last year, but I paid $165 recently when I bought in pairs. And yes the RSR is good in the wet but average if temps are cold. Whats your location ?

Doesn't the 36 have a 180 treadwear rating as opposed to 120 or something?
I'm in Victoria, western suburbs.

Yep Ku36's are 180 and RS-R are 140, to be honest their is not alot of difference between em. On the track about 0.5 sec advantage to the RS-R, RS-R have a softer feel on the road whilst the thick sidewall makes em stable enough for the drift boyz.

out of those id suggest ku36, if you want something better in the wet and not as soft, ive heard good things about the yoko s-drives, which can be had for a decent price...

Yeah, I was thinking s drives too. Or star specs, but I think I might just try 36's for now...
