EK vs EJ8 Knock Sensor.

Hey guys,
The knock sensor on my EJ8 is broken, brand new one from honda cost $328, that's insane! So I'm running around the spare parts shop and scrap metal yard to try to find one and no luck. They only have the one for EK, so my question is will it work on the EJ8. Engine is D16y8.

Should be the same, it has single wire plug.

If you want to be 100% certain, this is part number for knock sensor for EK's with d-series : 30530-P2M-A01 Sensor Assy., Knock (Matsushita)

You can call up honda again and ask for the part number of the EJ8 one, then you'll know for sure.
