Clock keeps resetting

My EG clock keeps resetting when ever you turn the headlights on.
Checked the backup fuse 7.5 and that's good

Must be a short or earthing problem?

Sounds like a current problem.

Hows teh battery?

Battery seems in good nick
Starts 1st go doesn't sound weak
No dimming lights
