Hey guys i recently got a complete brake upgrade from a dc2 vtir, and have halfway installed into my eg4. I had a look and came to the conclusion that the bearings on the dc2 front hubs are gone, and my eg hub bearings are perfect.
Being a eg/dc i know lots of parts are identical, however it turns out that while i can fit my rotor on, there isnt enough clearance to fit the inner carriers on the eg hub. Anyone have any idea on how to shave it? Ive read somewhere that people shave or grind down the carriers slightly to make them fit.. any ideas guys, i dont really want to fork out more cash to do the bearings and labour when i have perfect bearings in the eg hubs.
