I'm in the market for an after market CAI. Does anyone have any suggestions for CAI?

I'm looking at the following products:
- Takeda Link Conversion Intake
- Injen Cold Air Intake - SP Series Intake System
- CT Engineering Carbon Ice Box Intake

Anyone have these in their car?
Would you recommend any of the above or any other which I haven't listed?

I'm leaning towards the Injen because its cheaper but happy to fork out a little more dough for a better setup.

k/n full setup a lil bit more expensive but it trumps those. there is a thread on it that tested all the the popular CAI

Can't seem to find that thread. You wouldn't happen to know what the URL is for that would you?

How much will the K&N kit?

Thanks for the link.
Looks like that test was done on the CL9 not CU2 model.

I emailed K&N directly and asked if it was possible to use the CL9 k&n intake for Cu2. Here's there response.

Thank you for your e-mail and interest in K&N products. Unfortunately I can’t recommend the 69-0026TS since it only references the Acura TSX (http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=69-0026TS). The problem may be that it will not bolt on correctly and also because we haven’t done a complete test of it we don’t know what performance gains you may get if any.

I'm sure many people have slotted it in a CU2 but just want to get all the facts and figures before I proceed with purchasing one.

K&N offers this model for the CU2 http://www.knfilters.com/search/product3.aspx?Prod=69-0026TS on their site but I will prefer the CL9 intake.

K&N does not offer a CAI for CU2, only a SRI

guess you are stuck with injen or AEM on that front.

I'm using injen with a p2r throttle body spacer. Changed the stock filter with a hks mushroom filter. Sounds ridic.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around CAI & SRI. What exactly does the throttle body spacer do? More power or just more noise? how much does one set you back?

Do you have pictures?

Haha sounds legit. You can get hard piping from super cheap. And a 3a filter off eBay. Probably cost 100 for a full cai

Pretty Mich. Don't spend to much on it. The most it can do is give some extra throttle response. You have a na engine in the first place, on a turbo intake can give substantial gains. But on a na or Hondas most people do it for noise.

No Group Buys on OzHonda apparenlty. Although consider AusEuro. I'm trying to get together a Group Buy on CF Comptech IceBox on there.

ahhh What's better? Injen or CT?

For Cu2 the CT is too expansive

for CL9... K&N>CT>Injen
