So this is a do it myself thread hahahahahaha
my friend quoted me 275$ and i kno why. ive already spent 150 on paint not 20 on sandpaper and hell definately do a better job. dam oh well

http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g400/mr_late1/20120918_175724_zps675b8fe0.jpg lets start this at night time cz thats what u get for procrastinating all day
http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g400/mr_late1/20120918_182943_zpsc219df2c.jpg daaaam when u dont prep/sand properly
http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g400/mr_late1/20120918_204012_zpscaf92bcf.jpg sanded with 1200 grit then i ran out of sandpaper had to go to masters which they sell for only 86cents!!

http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g400/mr_late1/20120918_211013_zps5cbe56c5.jpg a lil bit of first person shooter, works on your toes if its cold. i dont recommend this only just read up and its a bad thing to force it dry.. letting it air dry now

http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g400/mr_late1/20120919_002052_zpse47611c1.jpg3 coats of crystal black

http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g400/mr_late1/20120919_094030_zpsd286e8fa.jpg after three clear coats an a 9 hour sleep

http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g400/mr_late1/20120919_131707_zps941d3f93.jpg 5 coats of clear
http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g400/mr_late1/20120919_131718_zps0e0fc5ea.jpg easier to spray on a high box for the handbrake cover

http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g400/mr_late1/20120920_111357_zps3f79e3f9.jpg no oven? no problem

Looking good man, thought you were gonna spray it gold ahah

Personally I'd have chosen a less shiny black because I think really shiny is tacky.

Nonetheless, well done :)

DIY of removing the trim pieces?

Looks good man. I can see the gold specks. Does it show up in the dark? Did you get rid of that orange peel feel?

I won't be doing the chrome trims. I like the chrome tbh, it gives it some balance. That is because i reckon chrome is vital in a black car. If it was on any other colored car,i would most probably considerdoing it.
Andrew. Haven't had time to sand it yet but i think i got the jist of it lol. Pray to God hey
