Hi,

I am trying to search for the correct p/n to be using as a reference to get some F & R QFM HPX pads for my dads civic.

I have been given a bendix number to refer to of DB2047 not sure if this correct as the spare parts person said there is many variants.

Can some please shed some light or at least provide oem p/n.

Thanks

blabla I've run QFMs previously in my VTi but I have switched over to REMSA brake pads. GSL rallysport supply both pads and the Remsa's are a far better daily. Remsa are $89 for the fronts (part no # BPM 0351 02) and $79 for the rears. I dont have the rear pad no but the GSL should be able to help you.

I have been speaking to Matt he asked for a photo to double check the rear calipers and I asked him for something better the standard because my dad is sick of changing the rears every 40,000 km and he recommended the QFM HPX pads its going on an auto as well.

The p/n is for fd1 Ye?

Yep the Part no is for 2006-2011 FD1 ! these shit all over standard. My rear remsa pads would have about 50,000km on em and they would be about 2/3 worn these have done 6or 7 tracks days aswell including yesterday at Eastern creek. Fronts I get about 30K out of em that would include 4 track days which is brutal on pads. They would easily go 50-60K with normal driving maybe more. I just put a new front set in yesterday at the race track.

I do have to warn you thou the pads have a 2 raised metal section about 8mm wide on the top of the pad. you need to grind 2-3mm off this raised section to fit em in our Rotors. A very minor hassle and can be down with an angle grinder or spinning grinding stone. takes a bout 1 min to do all 4 pads.

I just used the remsa catalog guide and it spat out 2 p/n but the its different from the one u gave me. this is what it said for the car i selected PCA120502, 24087 which fronts and relates to bendix number of db2047 which is what i was quoted, but the p/n you quoted me relates to this bendix number DB1206.

whats the pad ment to look like, ye i know it looks like a brake pad lol but ye...

the pad is about 148mm wide, the VTI-l is the same car as mine, Ring Matt and tell him you want the pads Steve Jones at Pyrmont gets. They have my order history on file.

I just dug out an old invoice for the fronts and the ref is # SKU : R035102.
