i think depends on whether the car is manual or auto... with manual its ok to use pod... the use of the clutch is helpful.... with the auto just lose low end

I got my pod through a mate with connections. Cost me $50.00 and $200.00 for the pipe, but it was custom made so nothing had to be moved. The $250.00 also included installation - can't complain about that. Because the Jazz only needs a small filter, I don't think that $30.00 necessarily means that it is a crap filter, but I'd check the brand and see what the brand is like. :o

simota filter can only be rewashed once or twice. whereas K&N can be rewashed many more times.

just a quick word on simota air filters, they are not bad for short term use but for long term, may not be as suitable as k&n. this is because the simota air filters use a spray on element whereas the k&n uses a cloth element hence the possibilty of re use. however, looking at the k&n filter(replacement element) it doesnt look like it will fit the 03 model and i am not sure if the intake kit will fit or not. does anyone have any comments?...

Looking at the K&N website and also having a quick look at the filter size of the 2005 Jazz. The size and shapes are difference from the 2004 K&N Jazz Filters.
