b16a2 with cams

is dc2/r cams a cheap option for a b16a2 and is it worth it for the power gains and also can u use b16a2 stock ecu to run them

Cheap option yes, worth it well that depends on what you want from it, how much you buy them for/install them for etc. OEM ECU will run it but it's not ideal however if you're sticking on the cheap side of things then yeah just go OEM ECU.

im gonna install a apexi vafc 2 aswell will that help ?

Nah that's garbage IMO.

If you want power get it tuned properly with a proper ECU.

The DC2R cams are nice. If you can get CTR cams that's even better. Anything more then you'll probably need to consider upgrading the valvetrain.


Budget = DC2R cams and no tune.
Money = aftermarket cams, valvetrain and tune.

if you have a VAFC2 laying around it wont hurt to install and tune
