Hi
A few days ago my subwoofer started to cut off in the middle of a song and then it comes back on again..

I have two amps - one for sub and one for 6x9s , and they both cut off ,i could only hear sound coming from front 6inch door speakers...

how to rectify this problem????plz help

Sounds like one of your cable might be loose/damaged. Have you checked that all wires are connected on the amps? Just give it a soft firm pull to see if they all are secure to the terminals.

yeah check that wiring has clear contact with the terminals and your grounding . a bad ground could be causing it fall in and out . needs sufficient and constant power bro , also make sure it's tuned properly and it's wired to the right power ratings

for both amps to be doing it at the same time, its most likely a power or earth problem. make sure ur power wire is connected properly at both ends and make sure you have a good earth, eg. held down tight to a clean metal surface..

Forgot to mention: DISCONNECT YOUR NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL before you start pulling cables. So in summary to all the above posts:
- Disconnect your negative on the battery
- Check that the power cable on the fuse is secure on both ends (it's near the battery)
- Go to your amp and check that all cables are secure
- Go to your ground (it's the shortest cable connected to the amp) and ensure that its secure to the metal of the car

After all that is done, connect your negative back and:
- Ensure everything is tuned correctly
