Greddy = as its spelt. Not G-Ready. I have an article somewhere in a mag (now deep in a box since I moved house) where Greddy was featured and some prominent members interviewed. They covered this first lol.
Enkei to me is 'ENKI' although I used to call them 'ENKAY'
GruppeM I always thought was a ghetto way of saying 'Group M' haha
How about Mugen? For me the G is solid whereas some people pronounce it like 'GENeration' sounds.

GruppeM is Group M
Mugen is mew ghen (if it was myugen, it would have been spelt as such in Japan)

Haha this thread is mad funny...
mugen is myu-gen as Renaissance X said above, as in japanese (don't know symbols) myu - void/without, gen - limit...... ergo; mugen = limitless....
gruppe = german for group??
:D

Tein, is TAIN like PAIN but with a T
and the brand Defi is Deh-fee (the eh sound should sound like the E in Pedophile) (ee sound is like short "i" noise, like the "i" from "tit")
not Dee-fee, other wise it would be spelt diifi

That's funny, the Japanese don't have a good way to pronounce "f"
Ask them to say "coffee" and they pronounce it "coh-hee"

That's funny, the Japanese don't have a good way to pronounce "f"
Ask them to say "coffee" and they pronounce it "coh-hee"
thats true, the F/H are a mix in some cases.
but that is actually the japanese word for coffee.
コーヒー
koohii
in the word futsuu (meaning usual/normal) it also sound like hutsuu.
but fi is a different character the hi.
the character for fi is a hybrid character which resembles the Fu/Hu character, ふ, plus the i character, い.
so is more like fu-i / hu-i.
so although sound similar they do have seperate characters.
These are all absolutely correct.
Meisters are pronounced in the obvious fashion. Like 'heist'.
'Myoo' for Mugen can't be right..
Moo-gen? So moo like moo cow and gen like 'again' Would this be right?
