DC5R to DC5S passenger mirror

Hi guys

I was wondering if the side mirror on a DC5R will fit a DC5S? I'll be replacing the whole unit, not just the mirror.

I'm aware the units look identical, just wondering if the terminals and wires are the same and it'll be a straight plug and play swap.

Also do i need to remove the door panel to swap this? I think i just need to pry it out a bit to reach the wire harness. please correct me if i'm wrong.

the dc5r/dc5s or any dc5 mirror is completely plug and play.

You will have to remove the door trim though as the plug for the power lead is in the door card so its a bitch to remove it but its only a 5-10min job!
