Brake lines same across EG/DC range?

Hi guys, just wanna ask if the braided brake lines are the same for all disc brake sizes across the EG/DC range e.g. braided lines for 242mm brake rotors fit 262mm and DC2R calipers.

It's down to length of the line, the location of the two mounting points along that line and the angle (if any) on the join at the caliper.

For example, I converted to rear disks on an ED6 from a DA9 but noticed that when I went to change a rear caliper on an EG5 that the angle of the join at the caliper had changed (hence the caliper didn't fit). I say this because all the literature says all rear brake setups for the ED6, EG and EK, plus DA9 and DC2 are all the same. Whilst this might be true generally there are enough differences to not allow a mix and match.

Upgrade in the future is it better to buy the dc2r ones?
