Not sure if this is normal.

Every I put my Air Con on while driving just as I switch it on for about 3 seconds or so I get a pulsating feeling through the accelerator (fells a bit like that ABS feeling once you brake hard)

Do you experience this as well ?

I get it too.

Solution: just lift your feet off the accelerator when u put air con on...LOL

I get a strange whistle sound when I turn on the A/C too.

Oh forgot to mention,

That pulsating feeling is just the engine needs to put more load to crank up the A/C fan.

Drive by wire.

More irritating is when the lights dim slightly when the AC compressor comes on (which is about every 30 seconds to 1 minute once the temperature is reached).

you probably need a ground wiring kit.

or made up some think audio wire and connect them to the battery, engine, alternator and such.

you'll be able to stabilze the voltage/current/whatever....;)
