This thread will be to track my progress as i try to reach into the 10's on street tyres.

I think at the moment the Australian street tyre fwd time is around 11.2 seconds. which was set a number of years ago by a swift.

i have previously run 11.78 on my old engine setup which made ~300whp on a gt2871r. This new engine makes a faaatt ~400whp

im hoping to do this with full weight/pump fuel.

datalogs and calibration for those with hondata

as you can see, there is alot of room for improvement!

gotta get the 60ft down to around 1.8 while still protecting my clutch. so i'll have to figure that out.

have to get boost levels closer to there mark, then get traction control dialled in where it wont make my computer hit lean cut from the soft limit it uses.

also need to add full throttle shift.

update 10.10.12 wed night test and tune

getting there slowly.. has power taken out in 1st 2nd and 3rd and i think i can get a better 60ft with these tyres. fresh tyres will def be needed for some good times! :(

Probably drag radials. Impressive either way.

tire will probably be mickey thompson et street radial II 225/50/15

i'll drive it to and from the track with those on also, just change pressure there then pump it up a bit before i leave.

so it will be a true 'this is what it can do on any day at any time' kind of speed.

Small tyre for the power. Most likely will wheel spin most of the way down the track.

hey wow sorry, been so long. i have new suspension now which has the front around the same stiffness but rear is a fair bit stiffer. not particularly for drag, but it should be more suitable.

ive just bought myself a welder, so ive been upgrading my car in the last few weeks and hope to get it running very shortly. im hoping i can get 135mph with the new mods, ive done 132mph on slicks. i'll update this thread when i get my car running and get a fresh set of drag radials.

im contemplating awd though haha
