if you already have an aftermarket deck something like this might be a better option, will give you digital radio without having to purchase new deck.

Sony have probably one of the best valued ones I have used, the model is a CDX-DAB700U, heaps of features like flip down varaible colour face panel, 3x RCA preout and 7 band EQ, USB with ipod contol and really well priced at $299rrp

I would have a Sony head unit over a JVC one any day of the week and I have worked in the car audio industry for 15 years. They are a way better built unit to many of the other Jap brands out there and they are one of the few companies still designing and manufacturing their own products.
Thats just my 2 cents!

Eh, each to their own.
Their speakers have gone down hill of recent. Not sure about their units, they seem to have some decent deals. But still, I don't personally like them either. Nor do I really like jvc... haha, I'm picky.
