I'm considering getting a half cage when I ultimately purhcase a EG/DC2 at the end of this year.

So to the boys on this forum, is it worth it and what are the costs typically. I heard Bonds ROll Cages do it for circa $600.

ALso, whats the shit to go through for engineering.

Thanks

A new national modification system is currently being put in place and should be released november apparently. So wait until then before you start any new projects that require engineering.

I thought people don't bother get it engineered they just register it as a 2 seater!

Don't you have to engineer it to register as a 2 seater.

i wouldnt bother going through the effort of engineering anything inside the cabin, waste of money and time.

some are some aren't gotta ask.
impression im gettting is not getting japanese made roll cages. gota get custom made from specialists and then register as 2 seater. engineering or may not be required dependent on what the owner wants to do

im pretty sure the car has to be engineered to a 2 seater , my mate was at the rta pits 3 days ago . This is in nsw , and the cage must be engineered because according to the rta , the roll cage me effect the crumple zones of the car.
