Hi guys,
Not sure it this is suppose to be in the noob forums or not, :o
Failed safety cert in qld for spare wheel not being secure. Did a cert when I transferred the rego without any problems.
Anybody got any tips or pictures of how the wheel is usually secured down?
There is a thread in the middle of the boot well, but nothing to hold the wheel down to.

There is a long bolt with an end that is pretty much a big washer and handle.
It came stock with the car.
Sounds like your missing it.

Yea you can get a long bolt in the correct thread, have a washer or rectangle plate as a tie down. Easy cheap alternative. Your going to need a spanner hand to undo it though in case of emergencies. The stock one had a wing you could undo by hand.

This is what the stock one looks like - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HONDA-CRX-DEL-SOL-SPARE-WHEEL-SECURING-BOLT-/330808531616?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d05b99aa0
Not sure if it's the same size across all Hondas, but might be easier finding out then buying this rather than making your own. Would be easy either way. Just thought I'd put it out there.
