Hi guys, long time reader, newly registered.

I currently have these headlights on my Prelude, as many do on their 5th Gen. Seems like the thing to do [this is my Prelude];

However I stumbled across these ones on eBay and thought that they might be interesting. I am yet to see any 5th Gen in Victoria with these on it.

Taken from here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360488646056?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_3912wt_1271

I am really keen to see how these look on a 5th Gen. I have since contacted the seller but no reply yet. If anyone has a photo of these on then please can you upload it?

Thanks.

Those do look pretty cool!! Now I hope no one is irresponsible enough to put HIDs in them if they blind other motorist. I have been blinded by Hondas with aftermarket HIDs lately. (mostly civics and integras)

Actually, are there any angel eye headlights that are legal or roadworthy in our shit country?

not sure about WA, but aftermarket headlights are legal in Vic as long as they are DOT compliant and have the correct cutoff then they are fine.

if they are DOT compliant then i see no reason why it would be illegal, and as long as it doesnt get unwanted attention, it should slip under the radar

Apparently if not ADR compliant its illegal...

Dont think so, they lack auto levellers and headlight washers, both of which are a pita to retrofit

proability of getting pulled over for them? Minimal..

those are only a requirement for HID...not halogen projectors.

(Gee from PA here btw)

Manabir just wondering if you can take a few photos dead square in front of the headlight with just the parkers and then full headlights turned on? I'm really keen to see how they look.

And maybe a few shots with just the angel eyes of the whole car and then the headlights turned on too, please if you wouldn't mind mate.

Also, how is the light output with those? What globes do they require?

Thanks heaps in advance.

I'm assuming that you'd buy these headlights for hids..

hey man, was just wondering if you ended up getting and installing the new headlights. If so would you be interested in selling your previous set? and how much?

Hey bloke due to getting laid off my job and looking for new work updates have been pretty slow and in saying that I haven't purchased the new ones yet. I will definitely be selling my set afterwards so I'll let you know, if you haven't picked a set up by then.

When I buff and get the scratches/rock chips out of them and put a UV layer on I'll sell them off, maybe $200 + p/h or a little more.
