Hey guys this is my 97 CXI ek.

This build will be semi paced (I think)

Im setting this build out by doing Exterior and a little Interior first then Engine mods later.

Future mods in order

-Rear Moudless bumper (DONE)
-Type R gear knob and mabe short shifter (DONE)
-Facelift converison (DONE)
-Ek9 wing (DONE)
-Full respray (DONE)

Engine: Nothing too fancy

-Full exhaust system (from engine to tip)
-Injen Air Intake
-Skunk2 Intake manifold

Yeah I bought it from there a little while ago.

Soooooooooo it has been along time and the ek is coming along nicely.

Not many people have seen this thread since it has been dead awhile xD.

Ive Done everything on my wish list and more although I havent started engine mods...

Will be leaving the b16 stock and eventually going k20 in awhile :D.

andddd then I finally got an oem Ek9 grill, wing, front and rear lip for that Perfect fitment

Got the whole body repaired from all dents and sprayed up in gun metal grey :P

Ive already got a new number plate on the way.
Same lettering just White with black letters.

Next for the car will be:

Tints: Thinking 15% for the rear, back seat side windows, 20% for driver and passenger windows.

Exhaust: Js racing c304

Steering wheel: Nardi vs ek9 momo. Cant make up my mind.

Worried about a cop pulling me up and defecting me for the nardi.
Was thinking that I could say its a cxi which dont have airbags but that would be a lie?

Thoughts guys?

They aint cheap aswell lol.

Nardi do look sexual but after the adapter kit it's like $550 compared to $400 for the ek9 wheel.

Some new parts have been bought and all installed :D.

Bought the Asr sway bar bundle from JDM yard which came with adjustable end links, 24mm sway bar and Asr sub frame brace.
This replaced the old ek4 rear sway bar.

Picked up JDM concepts Js racing c304 muffler which sounds nice (not to loud).

Also decided to go with a leather nardi deep corn 350mm.

Everything was easily installed DIY style.

Windows got tinted 20% @ rear and 15% at the fronts.

Fixed a lot of little things around the car.
Replace the window sill garnish with brand new ones from Honda japan.

Replaced windscreen wipers for a more modern look (rubber ebay ones).

I will still be leaving the b16 stock. A k20 is on my mind for next year.
New rims will be the next thing on my list.
Thinking work meister cr01s :D.

Until then there isnt much left for me to do to the car :/.

Jdmyard did it for me. $90 each is how much they go for. They took about 4 weeks to arrive in Sydney

How do you find the asr sway bar over the stock item?

It made a fairly noticeable difference in handling over the ek4 sway bar (Pretty sure its 16mm?).

The rear of my car is rock solid in cornering now. Could do power slides if wanted xD

If you are upgrading from no rear sway bar to the 24mm there would be a massive difference.
