Cheapest will not equate to quality. In Melbourne you can get resprays for $600, but the paint oranges within 6months

If you want to save some money you could prep it yourself, sanding and rubbing the paint back so it's ready to paint. You would save abit and you'll have a nice finish considering you've done a good job prepping the body.
Hope that helps.

Alot of painters refuse to touch the car if you prep yourself. If you DIY the whole job, you'll be looking at around the $1500 mark including booth hire

pm " eg58yu"
he can hook you up
or pm me for a phone number and ill let him know
good quality work for a good price.
if your looking for show room stuff then hes not the right guy
but if your looking for good work for a street car that may occasionally get chips anyway hes excellent!
no complaints from me.

I say give it a try your self
My neighbour left his hand brake off and the car hit a light pole
I fully resprayed it. It came up awesome. Really happy with it.
Was going to respray my civic but it got hit so I got a full respray when I got it repaired ;-) ($2000)
Give it a go.
Or ask for a apprentice to paint it. The work shop will still watch over him.

I have just finished DIY painting my race car. Cost me $1200 for primer, paint, alot of sanding pads, hardner, thinners, orbital sander and booth hire. Add another $150 for a resporator and $100 in misc items like rags and mixing containers etc
