SOOOOOOO!!! Last week I flew up to Sydney with a mate to pick up my new beauty.
A DC5S MY DREAM CAR!

Hey guys! I thought I would take the chance to introduce myself again after picking up my new DC5s!! It has always been my dream car since 2003, where I first laid my eyes on it in the world of Need for Speed: Underground. Hah, I know... A little bit different since everyone loved the skyline in that NFS series.

After reading below I'm sure you will instantly notice whose DC5s this used to belong to and how well he treated this, as well as the extensive genuine mods he put into this. It is in pristine condition and he treated the car very well even though he hardly drove it! Huge respect to CRASHPRASH here.

As you may have figured out, I am from Melbourne. So I basically flew up there Thursday night to pick it up after about a few weeks discussion between Prash and I to get everything sorted out. I ended up driving home Friday morning due to some unforeseen internet banking issues hah. I went up with a friend who helped me drove it back! Wouldn't have made it back in 8 hours or so without him, we just kept switching every 2 hours or so. Our butts are still sore from the the drive back hahah.

I personally will do my best to keep the respect on the car that he has earned and not **** it up, wrapping it around a tree or completely ricing it up. I believe in small and unique tasteful mods, especially the ones he has done already to the car. But in all seriousness, I love the way it stands as it is and I dont think I will be modding it any further or doing any changes any time soon. BUT maybe raising it a little because of my 2 stage incline of a **** drive way which I will upload a picture of so you all can see what shittery I have to put up with to get in and out of my house.

Other than that... I hope to get up to some meets and meet some new people who can help me out in track and learn more about cars!! I will feast of your knowledge!

I'm pretty happy with the spoon shift knob. Feels great, i can firmly grab onto it and shift without slipping my hands unlike my fd2r knob. I has sweaty hands sometimes.. T_T

The only thing i dont like is that it is actually quite small. So looks awkward, ill post up a picture later on today, at work atm!

++ MORE TO COME ONCE THEY GET UPLOADED :)

ALSO A HATEFUL PIC!!
http://i45.tinypic.com/16hsuu0.jpg
I got pulled over on the way home one night by an unmarked cop. For no reason at all. I wasn't speed what so ever, i didnt get a fine or anything but it just pisses me off to get pulled over for no reason when i just wanted to get home from a long day. He spent a good 10 minutes looking at my engine bay to find nothing wrong with it (he even took pictures to send it off to get assistance). He looked rather pissed he didnt get me for anything tbh. Pissed off bad but at least i didnt get a fine or lose any points.

AND for all you people who thinks my car needs MOAR LOW:
http://i48.tinypic.com/2mgr143.jpg
https://www.facebook.com/ajax/messaging/attachment.php?attach_id=8d41df051e204fd361dc664e6 cbecd27&mid=id.542251635803496&hash=AQC_b8KRSnodUi7V
The picture may make it seem easy but trust me its not, the picture doesnt do justice as to how fking bad it is. As you can see my neighbor whose actually got a better drive way has plates to get up into it for a normal car (with out it he still scrapes FOR A NORMAL CAR). So yeah i really cant low it moar but i really want to. Realistically this is the best i can get. Sure i can park outside on the street. But i've been burned before by a hit and run so Im not taking a risk on my new baby.
Also as it stands, my front STILL scrapes getting out of this bitch. Going up and down...*
IF ANYONE THINKS OTHERWISE THAT I SHOULD STILL GIVE IT MORE LOW, I FORMALLY CHALLENGE YOU CAN GET UP AND DOWN MY DRIVEWAY WITHOUT SCRAPING I WILL LOWER IT!!

Here is how it sits this morning after a quick rinse from last nights cruise with all the dead bugs and dirt on the car outside my work place :)

Maybe the picture does make it look not so bad, but if you're bothered enough would you make it if you backed onto your grass out the front, go over your neighbours driveway then back down I might do this challenge, is there cash prize?!

When it involves massivly scraping a $800 catback, there is no need to harden up as practicality takes place. Low is not a lifestyle for all young paduwan

Lol you may think thats a good idea. But at this point you would have already scraped your b-pipe. And will only become worst trying to get out again side ways from the grass. Where the scrape happens is the first flat surface you get up to going up. The rest is fine.

ahahaha cb! I got the same driveway (i think worst then yours) too man dw, my cars low and everytime i get out, no matter what angle i get out, i always scrape my exhaust pretty hard on that second (higher) level of the driveway :( mehh hopefully it wont do anything bad overtime after all its only an oem exhaust lol.
Think i might need to lay some plastic or fabric shit to cover that driveway so it doesnt get scraped as bad.

Hey! Thanks, I am very happy with threaten purchase.

As for the transfer... it's pretty standard. All you need is a proof of purchase. That's it. You cant use our rwc here over in Sydney. So you can use that to get the price down. You have to organise that yourself over in Sydney, which I'd the blue slip? Or pink... one of the two. You can also get the Victorian rego transfer papers just in case as evidence but I don't think your rta will accept it. You'll definitely need a PoP hand written or typed signed by both members.

And that's really it. Than you apply for new rego over in Sydney. As you'll have to get new plates.
