Our client VicRoads has developed a new animation to show how motorcycle Anti-Lock Braking Systems (ABS) work to help riders in emergency situations.

What....?

The video says that abs will reduce breaking distance.

But that would only apply when the tires of the vehicle without abs locks up.

accually a locked wheel doesn't apply more force than a braked wheel near the limit/with minute angles of slip

so it's assuming that you're an incompetent rider and that you'd always exceed the limits of grip under emergency braking
