HELP! rear suspension access ek1

Im swapping out old suspension and have installed the rear passenger side fine but am having trouble with the rear drivers side. For some reason i cant get access to the top bolts with my impact and extension's but only have access with a ring spanner :( Maybe the best option is to take out the boot lining out which didn't want to come out when i tried mayeb im missing some hidden screws. Very weird because i took the passenger side out with my impact and extensions and worked a treat.
