Does this harm the gearbox?

wells, i was washing my car today, and my sister who does not know how to drive a manual, sat in the drivers seat and moved my knob from neutral into 3rd gear WITHOUT pressing the clutch!! http://www.preludeaustralia.com/forums/html/emoticons/angry03.gif but the engine was off...

does that harm the gearbox?

AFAIK....no. Fine to do while engine is off at 0 rpm ...


But please dont do this while driving nomally :)

na man its alright i act like im racing through gears when my car is off and im waiting for someone without using the clutch man when im really bored lol sounds sad doesnt it. but use this its : pythagora's theory. no crunch= no harm :)
