Hi guys,

Had a question as my front bumper on my eg has paint peeling around 10cm in diameter.

Was wondering what should i do?..

lil cracks are still showing, should i sand it down and use touch up paint? sand it down then primer then spray can it? or should i just spray my whole bumper??

let me know what u guys think
thanks!

id spray the whole bar, saves u doing it all over again in little spots..

plus it would look better doing it all at once, wouldnt wanna be driving round with half a good bar and other half bad lol

Spray the whole thing mate. Sand it until the color is really dull and won't shine at all. 400 finish is fine. Prime/hi-fill it, apply a guide coat, sand again and then spray when the guide is off.

Just remember the better the prep work, the better it will look, and hopefully the longer it will last :-).

Like Dougie_504 recommended. Best to sand the old colour to a haze but use 240 grit dry paper (so the primer can bind).
Hi Fill it using Primer with at least 3 coats, sand it using 240 grit and use a guide coat.
Once done, prime it again and sand using 400 grit dry or 600 grit wet with a guide coat. This is just to smooth out the primer work for the top coat.
Wipe clean with prep-wash and dry off with a clean towel. Use a tack rag before you lay on the topcoat/basecoat & clear.
