Have seen a few posts for 4x100 to 4x114 but nothing for back the other way.

1997 Integra with 4x114 and wanting to change to 4x100's. Is the easiest way just to buy new hubs front and back complete with bearings? If so any suggestions where to buy them? I assume I will also need to change rotors etc?

Thanks in advance.

Easiest way is to get the complete 4x100 knuckles hubs trailing arms and swap it all over

Yes, just buy hubs, yes youll need rotors.

Thanks for the replies. Not sure if bolt on spacers are a good idea on a race car?

Any suggestions where to buy hubs in Australia?

your right, the would creat extra pressure on components, and can actually make for worse handling. its like having too much offset.

thy are used around the world on race cars and work perfectly and give u some.extra offset...
we have run them on.my bros street and track drift car....
they have copped a beating and have slso been in accidents with no issues at all...

just go to any local honda wrecker and buy hubs

just keep the 4x114.3

they are a lot of wheels that size which are nicer than 4x100

you should check with the wreckers as the hubs for 4x100 are easy to find on integras

Most cases they are good, but its extra load on your bearings, which could be avoided. small amounts is perfectly fine but you cant argue that by running 35mm spacers its going to be safer then having the correct offset wheel.
but having said that, most of them are well made, and if all the components are in good condition it wont wear them out so fast.

but why bother changing them? as said before some really nice 4 stud wheels come out in that size that we dont get to see in 4x100

Was your car converted before? I didn't know 97 Integra's came with 4x114?

I'd keep the 114.3... Lots more wheels than 4x100. If you're complaining about wheel selection and brake sizes and what not, don't cry to me, I have to deal with 4x120 and teeny brakes.

I don't really see the need for 4x100. I'd imagine the brake choice, wheel choice and what not for 114.3 would be much greater?

Thanks for all the replies.

Apparently not too many choices in lightweight racing wheels in 4x114.3.

apparently or there isnt? i think there is.... should be heaps around, otherwise if its a "racecar" may aswell upgrade straight to 5 stud with the bigger brakes anyway.... not downgrade to 4x100

although i guess you could go dc2 vtir hubs with itr calipers (theres some for sale on here) and prelude redrilled rotors and itd be fine...

There's a tonne of good, light wheels in 4x114.3
And yes there is also many wheels in the 4x100, but from what i've seen they're mostly 15/16" and only 7 or 8" wide.
If you want the 16's or 17's with 9+"'s you really need to have 4x114.3
Also,
Spacers don't directly harm your wheel bearings.
Having anything too far from a regular offset harms your wheel bearings.
If you're using spacers to achieve a more factory offset, then they are actually helping the cause.
