[CU2] 2008 standard CD player doesnt work

Hi guys,

Apparently the CD player in the 08 CU2 doesnt work anymore. It always display "press Eject" but when I did it do nothing (one CD is still there on slot 1 - I cant get it out). I tried to enter another CD, doesnt work. eject doesnt work, play doesnt work.

I've unplugged and replugged the battery but still doesnt work.

Anyone has similar experience?

Also, since our warranty has run out, if I bring this to the dealer will I get charged to fix it?

The units probably fried.

Mind did the same, ended up replacing the whole headunit.

After, I endup to get a unit off a wreck.

Only the cd stacker part is broken but you can't just get that by itself. What a pain.

Ah crap! Well, its probably time to upgrade to some satnav HU anyway...
