Ignition Barrel + Key

Hi guys, so my ignition or key barrel has played up and its pretty hard to turn the key now to start the engine. I was just wondering if i do end up buying a new/second hand barrel with the key, how would i use that key to unlock my car? or do i have to settle using my old key to open the doors and the new key to start the car?

u change the all doors lock include barrel, or get your self ignition switch ;). I would go ignition switch
