Hey Guys,
Just wondering anyone know of the S2000 on carsales with rego: CAS52K. Or alternatively anyone selling an S2K i'm looking at one in NSW with price range of 20-25k. Its hard to come by a decent S2000 these days.
Cheers

I'd say call them and check it out.. there's less than 2000 s2ks sold in Aus.. and only 400-500 of them are 02 and after.
Only way to know is to check it out. If u know someone thats got an s2k or knows about cars bring them along. Thats if u dont know urself.
But if u have any idea about cars. U can pretty much tell if there's anything major from a decent test drive. If it passes the test drive.
Have it inspected by a good mechanic.. If I'm not mistaken u guys up there in nsw have a few mechanics who are very familiar with the s2000...
Oops.. too late. Cars sold..

that should be quoted at the top of these forums as a guide to checking out cars.
Step 1 - go see the car
Step 2 - inspect the car, look for anything that looks wrong. you don't need to be a mechanic or panel beater for this, i'm not and inspected 5 s2000's i wasn't happy with.
Step 3 - drive the car, see if anything feels wrong
Step 4 (or step 1 if they are free, i'm not sure if they are any more) - do the vin checks and all that make sure it's not a write-off
Step 5 - ask about it on the forums and take it to a professional to have it looked at.

good advise. should be the standard of any preowned car purchases even at the dealer. can never be too cautious about that new purchase.

Owner took it off carsales. Was asking 26.5k firm unless you're willing to go for that don't bother. Car looked to be in good condition and was genuine bloke.
