Dear All,

Time to replace my fluid at 30,000Km. Is this suitable for my Civic? Thank you.

My service manual said 100,000Km, but I just want to be on the safe side & change on 30,000Km.

let me know if you notice any difference, although i doubt it would be at 30k.
mine is at 50k, sometimes i feel the gearbox is a bit lazy

Yes, we found that with Honda's autoboxes, the interval for ATF is too long. If you follow the interval, you will have a nicely clunky gearbox.

I recommend every 2 years or 30,000km, whichever comes first. By doing it frequently, you don't have to waste additional bottles trying to get trapped fluid out of the torque convertor.

True, just worry that if too long interval, it will damage my AT.

I changed my A/T fluid at 85k and today I changed after 50k (ie odo @135k) , I can feel the different. Bought the fluid 4 liters $63 from honda

BTW , it need only 2.5 liters.

Then i think i will change ATF in my civic in the next service
Has anyone noticed civic fd1 has "two steps" throttle?

Penrite sell a full synthetic ATF that is compatible with Honda AT (not CVT) that works really well
