Hey guys, am looking to install braided lines into my eg, now at the moment i have the standard and shitty booster+master cylinder, but am installing DC2 VTiR calipers/hubs and 282mm rotors and wanting to install braided lines too...

question for anyone that can answer... what braided lines do i need/is there a difference for example between dc2 and eg braided lines, which ones would i need to run?

also for the calipers, do i need to shave anything off the caliper/is anything needed apart from what i already have listed above?

thanks again for any help

DC2 Vtir has 262mm right?
282mm is from a BB6 or DC2R brakes.

Goodridge brake lines are good, i am using it, make a world of difference.

Wouldnt you need ITR BB6 CRV calipers in order to run 282mm rotors?
As for calipers, you'll need to shave down the caliper so it'll clear the rotor, or you could run 3mm spacers behind the rotors. You can get them from jdmyard, just pm them for more info

yea cant use vtir calipers with 282 rotors. need 98+ itr, ek9, bb6 or some legend
then you need some 3mm spacer between hub & rotor or you can shave the caliper bracket.
spacer is way more easy. jdmyard got em $50. youre on the right track with vtir hub/knuckle assembly though.

you should swap to bigger bmc+booster so shorten pedal travel.
doesnt matter which eg/dc is the same cos the bracket to hold brake line is not fixed so you can move it around to suit.

thanks man, all the answers i wanted, yeah wasnt sure about the 282 mm brakes, id heard that you could run 282 or 262 with this, but oh well, ill just get 262....

plan to upgrade the bmc+ booster too, pizza boy budget is shit though :\

so will i need dc2 vtir lines or eg lines, or are they essentially the same thing...
