I didnt know where to post this so guess this is the only logical way...

Ive come across something that has stopped me in the turbo upgrade.....

Due to my flange adapter needed to run this turbo, it has lowered the turbo, enough to cause fitment issues >_<

Can i simply just grind away the area i need so long as its not enough to break into the engine an cause a hole?

I cant offset the turbo any higher or lower, What about a spacer? Ive never come across anyone using or even thought of it, just an idea i guess lol

Any help would be appreciated, as i need this sorted out ASAP

thanks :D

i use a spacer on my turbo and no problems for me over a few years.

that looks so minute it look like u can just use a file to get it to clear

shouldnt be a problem as long as you remove the bolt first.
i dont think youll make a hole to crankcase, that area is for tranny/block bolt
maybe theres a better solution rather than filing down the block

i think it may be due to the picture an angle id need to remove atleast 5mm if i was to file down, is that too much to do?

As far as spacers go, the only thing i can think of is stacking few flanges up an hope for the best, are there any ways to space is out besides that?

cheers
