How to operate Electric Aerial?

Hey guys,
some of you might of seen my "Going to look at a 94 Prelude" thread, and I ending up getting it!

It's not perfect, but it's definitely fun. :)

One thing I can't work out, is how to operate the electric aerial, and whether or not it's actually aftermarket.

Did the seller show you the aerial going up and down?
either which way to make it erect you have to turn on Radio mode from the headunit.
if its wired correctly then the headunit will send the signal to erect the aerial.

get back to us, with a pick of the aerial. it might of been broken and he just said "nah its electric"

the antenna is ment to work with the radio

turn on the radio antenna goes up
turn off the radio antenna goes down
Switch to CD while Radio is on antenna goes down

post a photo of the base of the antenna and I can tell you if its genuine or aftermarket

if you hear a motor run and then knock, knock, knock when you turn the radio on/off then the antenna mast is possibly jammed or damaged.
