Hi folks,
New guy here. I have had a OZ honda account for some time now but this week I picked up a 2007 Honda Euro Limited Edition.
It was from a lady owner 60,000KM for $16,000. Auto transmission, lowered , 18 inch rims.
This week:
Monday - Picked it up drove it home on the M5 motorway approx 30 minute drive. No issues
Tuesday - Went to drop my other car off to service the Euro's battery light warning went on. Thinking its a 2007 model probably got its original battery no probs drive down to my local battery dealer grab a new one.
Get there and the car dies on me. The battery place says the alternator not charging cant help you. Try next door the auto electrician.
Auto electrician says very common in these cars hes changed 3 this week. Im like oh S#$t!!!!
He calls 3 suppliers while I watch him not 1 person has it. He tells me leave to car goto work and he'll call me once he sources one.
Calls me later in the day with 3 choices.
1. Honda New $1400+ GST
2. QLD supplier NEW $745+GST
3. Second hand $500+GST
$150+GST for labour.
This morning I picked the car up, all done after choosing option 2. Not a good start but still excited about owning this car.
Are there any other major issues that I should look out for this model?
Cheers,
Gaz
