So i got this ecu thrown in when i bought a car i was told it was chipped. I opened it today to have a look the chip says SST. I have done a bit of looking around but have not found much it all seems to be American based. Does anyone here know anything about this? or anyone in Melbourne that can burn these chips? While i was searching i found some info that explained that not only the chip had to be put in but you had to solder some other bits. When i was looking at pics of ECU`s with the SST chip to see if these other parts had been done as well they all looked different to my ECU. Ill put a pick of the chip up here to see if anyone can give me any info on it at all.

The pic is of the bottom right hand corner of the ECU where the chip is.

Any help will be appreciated

your ECU from this photo looks like its OBDO

not a lot of support for OBDO, you may want to convert to OBDI to gain more tuning options.
