i got the Pioneer TS-A6990S 6x9 & KENWOOD KAC-8401 AMP using the factory HU in my euro.
but after i installed it... it sounds pretty bad... the bass is worst then the factory 6x9 :(
dunno wat goes wrong... maybe is the speaker line? cos i only use the speaker line come with the Pioneer speaker... i just dunno
anyway... i took tat off already...
anyone got any idea? is the amp and speaker doesnt match each other?
i mean the power. but it should be ok? (i think)

did u hook up the speakers with the correct polarities? As in (+) goes with (+)
and (-) goes with (-)

if the speakers are hooked up to the amp & the polarities arent matchin, the speakers would blow..

... just install back the amp and 6x9... but the bass still really bad ....
even the volume is very low. sometimes the bass is like blow speaker..... i have try adjust the volume of the (stinger low input converter) and the amp... but still...
P.S. is just sth wrong with the bass, others are fine....

btw... i am thinking to add a sub with it...
can anyone recommend a good sub for my system please...
i just wanna add a sub to the amp tat i am currently using.
do you think my amp is possible to handle a sub and the 6x9?
i just want some bass... dun need really high power ones.
