$3k to repaint is too dear for me mate, im only a poor worker :( ....

so far i only spent $250 for vinyl paper to whole car, and $175 plastidip for wheels and spoiler and mirrors...

Less than $500 to completely change the colour of your car. Decent job mate ! Did you run through any encounters while you were doing so that made you frustrated ?

the only part is removed the door handles... and also it's a bit hard to do it by self, it will be more easy if someone can give you a hand...

that looks awsome mate, kudos!

how do you find the plasti dip? i went to a meet recently with 2 car that were done in it.
they were gritty to touch and had fine runs in overlaped places (im a painter so getting picky)
and obviously not being able to sand or buff its stuck like that.

also interested in how you rounded it around the doors? as in did you just cut it flush in the door gaps or cut halfway though and fold it around behind the door and front guard?

Again looks the part mate, well done

thanks mate... i found the plastidip from Ebay.... now i will suggest to plastidip rather than paint....

about the vinyl i just fold it around behind the door and front guard.... so from outside is look ok, but when u open the doors/bonnets you will c 2 different colors... honestly no one will c it while driving / parking

I rarely visit OzHonda, but I noticed this thread after replying to a PM and I just have to say, fantastic job.

People don't realise the guts you need to undertake a job like this and the process would've been slow and painstaking, but the result is wicked. Good on you for getting stuck in, the Euro looks great!

According to thoughts some of the benefits of a rubber-wrap..........
A)All the same benefits of wrapping with vinyl:temporary color change, factory paint protection in turn protecting the value of your vehicle
B)Affordable alternative to wrapping in vinyl
C)Instant face lift for faded, worn, mismatched, old, even peeling paint or clear coat.
D)Change the color of your wheels. Instant and cheaper than having them restored or refinished
E)Eliminate chrome trim easily and temporarily
