Well, my boot/trunk light keeps flashing while going over little bumps and driveways as such, I've tried closing it hard and it seems to work until i open it again, i don't want to keep slamming the shit outta it.

Any ideas on what it could be?
Where is the boot light sensor ?

correct me if i'm wrong, but the sensor is in the boot latch itself, check the wires for a short, failing that you would probably have to replace the whole unit.. or try and adjust the boot alignment.

These images are for a civic sedan, but it should be similar.

Mate tried playing around with that trunk lid latch and shit, even cleaned the earths with sandpaper,
still got nothing.. everything seemed to be tight and it only happens during vibrations from the road

Maybe buy a ek4?

on a serious note, take out the unit and buy another shouldn't cost to much from a local wrecker.

just bend the contact point so it gets a better connection.
