mates told me it could be o2 sensor or the fuel pump

best you take it to mechanic.
pointless to give you instructions on what to do or tell you to read manual.

or pm few guys here that can probably can help fix the car for you
like cbauto or traders here

If theres no visible problem then the best and FREE place to start is check the ecu for errors codes, you might get lucky and find the issue from that

follow this guide, its quite simple http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?8218-DIY-CHECK-ECU-for-j00-!

Let us know what you find :)

if you dont have an error code stored on the ecu then i would reboot the ecu then try and start the car if it dosent start then you gotta start at the begining, check shes getting fuel and spark.these cars will gennerally still run with a bad o2 sensor or map, they just run verry rich but if its a sensor problem then there should be check engine lights. honestly if it seems too much then you should have it taken to a tech to get it sorted, i know i know your a student but i hear maccas hires students some times ;)
