[CU2] Coolant

Hey guys, I'm used to using Castrol Coolant (thick red concentrate) when i was overseas... used it for so many years, long distance + high temperatures, etc.. no issues at all; but here in Sydney, can hardly find it, except variations of Tectaloy dominated almost everywhere we go.

Which coolant are you using & where to find them?

(I don't have luxury to go to Honda dealer for coolants).

Honda coolant lasts for 100,000-120,000 km. The higher price of Honda type 2 coolant is balanced by the life. You can get the coolant from Mekong Spares in Canley Vale for less than the dealers. If you can find Honda wreckers, they also sell it.

Not sure if the CU2 water pump is compatible with the red coolant. Some cars like the Astra end up with water pump corrosion when running incompatible coolant and I thought Honda was similar.
