Hi all,
Appreciate some help and advice here.
I have a new CR-V coming in Feb, and I'm looking to fit larger 19/20 rims with ideally a concave look.
The 2013 CR-V has a 5x114.3, offset +50(i think) at 6.5 width and the standard tyres given are 225/60/17.
I'm looking to upgrade it to a 245/35/20 at +35, at a 8.5 width. All the online calculators suggest that everything should fit, but there is a small possibility that as it goes out further by 2cm, it may hit the fenders. Ozzytyres say the wheels will fit as well with no issues, and comes even with staggered options @.@
Will the new rims + tyres fit?
Thanks in advance.

Well you decreasing the over all height by 20mm.
And the rim will sit closer to the strut by 10mm and closer to the fender by 40 mm. Best bet get the car and check the clearances. As i have a old crv and there wasn't much room to play with!

Thanks, the challenge I have is that the rims are not available in Melbourne, and Im thinking of ordering from Ozzytyres, instead of going to my local bob janes, which will undoubtedly sell the standard fare and selection of rims.
There has been a few online posts stating the Accord and CR-V share similar fitments and can fit most similar rims, even though I read in most places that Accord offsets is +55.

i have a gen 1 CRV and the stock rims are 50 offset. I still think wait until you get the car, check clearances then order rims. Also running 245/35/20 renders your crv useless for any thing off road!

Thanks mate.
Ok, I will do so. Doing some research over the weekend, may want to eventually fit a 225 on the 8.5 which is possible, and that should clear in most instances. Regardless, I will get vehicle before doing it.

As an update (should have posted several months back), the CR-V is now fitted with 8.5/114.3 with 235/55/19 wheels at +35 offset, and it fits OK, no rubbing whatsoever, and the overall diameter is less than 1% difference from stock.
The ride comfort is of NO difference to stock (225/65/17), and handling is barely improved.

Regretting a tad now and should have gone for 20s or 22s, but wife and kids are happy now (which is more impt) :)
