I want to kill my key in ignition beep - it's driving me nuts!

Anyone know where the little beeper is in a MY10 Ody Lux?

(Its not always possible or appropriate to have the door shut and/or engine running when the stereo is playing)

close the door or remove key

but in seriousness I THINK you can remove sound the unit itself by following the sound ahhah

I remember seeing a DIY on disconnecting or muffling the Euro Accord beeper,I assume would be similar

Hi Steve, I wanted to find it too - it's under the dash somewhere behind the instrument cluster.

Will take the time to find it properly when I pull out the stereo, in a couple of weeks.

Cheers. I had my head up under the dash today and it sounds like its located somewhere to the right of the steering column mechanism but behind the dash.
Bit hard to see for sure and I had other more pressing things to do so had to leave it for now.

But yes, any help would be appreciated as the car will be at sound offs and the beeping will be distracting for listeners.
