Just wondering what is the best or you guys
Recommend what gearbox oil to run in my honda integra type s
I have been having a quick search and can't really find a answer

just use OEM trans oil

Use the correct viscosity and also you want to use a GL4 oil. GL5 contains sulphur which eats yellow metals like your copper synchros.

Valvoline duragear is crap. Dont touch its 75-85w and is a GL4 but its BAAAAAAD. NEVER AGAIN.

around $15 a bottle is good

:thumbsup: DakDak gives some good advice here.

Another good oil to try is Red Line MTL which is a GL-4 70W-80, the same viscosity as OEM Honda fluid. The advantage of the Red Line is that its a fully synthetic fluid, which will stand up to heat better than OEM fluid.

This stuff seems to work alright. Works well in my engine, tranny feels pretty good with it too!
