Hi guys,

I currently have a '94 eg civic with b16a swap. I found the ECU it is using is a P28 chipped and converted to manual to be used with the B16a engine. The VTEC engagement is still at 4800rpm. I was wondering, if I bought a JDM P30 ECU, would it be a straight plug and play or are there any wires that need to fiddled with?

all you need is the correct Chip if the ECU has been setup correctly, this will be a lot cheaper than another ECU

sounds like it has a B18C2 chip in it.

Any recommended chip providers?

I can supply a Hondata S300 chip for your P28 if you want complete adjustibility
