1) Follow this link and steps to removing the bottom part of the centre console using you screw drivers to unscrew the bolts :
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13318

2) After you have taken it out the centre console , apply scotch tape to the base of the maccas cup holder trays (For some adhesive base) and spread out the interior trim or carpet where the centre console was previously then shove the cup holders into place like below.

the origins are hazy...perhaps ancient China or so where old ox farmers used to cut a small hole in the seat - to hold their pearl milk tea while cruisng along.

Hey!
When I shifted to 5th, my supersized lemonaide spilt down my legs into my floor mats, carpet, seats and peddles, the cup holder also got soaked and now is ruined. Whilst getting the liquid out of my car my McDonalds got cold and I had to go buy some more. My gearknob and steering wheel are all sticky too!!
I want compensation!!

I believe that is due to shonky installation. Are you sure you followed the instructions properly? Or maybe you just don't know how to use such a sophisticated invention.

good going chi
or you can just use tape and tape it on your dash console
but i think if it gets wet then you would need to go to maccas to get another holder :P

If you scared of getting it wet and all yucky, you can go to your local craft store and buy protective glue.
