last night i left work. and gave it a boot full, i snap 2nd and the back rest of my seat snaps completely off throwing my head into the rear passenger seat. so what my question is will 88'CRX seats fit into a 90'DA9 teg. as iv'e found a good buy on line for $150. for the pair. is the seat rail bolt pattern the same for each chassis?

The second generation CRX Si seats were designed for Honda by Recaro.

These seats are really rad and everyone from old-skool hot rods to other honda make and models use them in their projects...yet being a CRX guy myself i wanted to swap them out for something else

Anything from 88-91 shouuld work, the 88-89 used a slightly different fabric from the 90-91 but everything else is the same.

I did end up having to get custom trails to fit DC2R Recaro's into the gen2.

The bottom of the SI CRX seats is kinda 'wavy' and hard to mount a 'flat' style bracket to. The OEM crx rails are a little too wide to fit the integra.
And i really wouldnt be surprised if the gen2 CRX seats would need slight modifying to fit into your DA9 teg.
Fabricate up a little metal bracket and weld them right to the bottom of the seat though.

I ended up using an EVO 4 seat which was originally in my DC2. but considering I swapped those out for OEM ones so my missus can drive the DC2. they're now going into my DA9. I bolted the left rail to the recaro, required one hole to be drilled. and I welded some 3mm X 40mm X 345mm plate i got from work to the right side rail. and will be bolting it up tomorrow morning.
