Hey guys,

Seeking so assistance if anyone can help. For a 2007 Euro Lux.

Today the right indicators failed to work, the left work fine and as normal. When I press the hazard only the left work and no right. Flash speeds are normal.

When I lock the car with a keyfob all indicator lights (both left and right) flash and car locks normal. When I unlock the car all lights flash normal.

Fuses are all o.k and the bulb connections are all normal as well.

So I know its not the bulbs, could this be a flasher unit and if so ..... where should I look. I understand that its not a relay as the left of flashing normal.

Also I read about the door lock actuator failing and effecting the indicators however the doors are locking and unlocking with no issues.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Fixed.

I jumped wires in the flasher car connection and saw that all light were working. So this means that the flashed can was faulty.

$90- for one through honda. $10- at the local wrecker.... solved.

If anyone experiences this issue please contact me and I am happy to assist.

The electrical plug has 6 pins all in a straight line.

I jumped pin 2 and 6 which lit the left lights and pin 3 and 6 does the right lights.

Since the lights came on then there was no other break of fault in any of the other wiring.

Dont jump 1 and 6... this blew the fure (15A) easily replaced.

If jumping these connections did not work then the fault could have been in the combo switch or the hazard switch.

I got the wiring diagram from a US honda/acura site and noticed that it had come up on a US Honda using a similar flasher can part number.

Just also letting you know, I took this to honda who wanted the car for 1/2 day to run diagnostic checks. I questioned the flasher can and was advised that they 'never' fail and that this was a serious electrical short that required to be fxed.

I shudder to think what honda would have charged to fix as they do not carry a flasher can in stock.... she they would not have checked this and possibly continued looking for a bigger issue.

i know that this may have been boring to read... however I hope that this help someone in the future if they search for it.

Cheers.
