Anyone got or heard anything about these?
There is a dealer/installer only 20mins from and costs $4250 installed. Bolt on, no other mods required (although I'd likely get a zorst, intake and ask if they can do an ECU tune). Seems like easy power without playing around with NA mods that give small power increases, most of which are high end and this gives low end which the Jazz really needs.

Following up on my own post I emailed the local dealer today:

The supercharger is by far the best value for increased performance.
We can upgrade the exhaust as well.
An ECU comes with the kit But Sprintex has not finalised the Australian tune.
We would normally scrap their ECU and replace it with an Xede and custom Dynotune.
This will cost an additional $990.(normally$1250)

Mate go for it, when you say Sprintex has not finalised tune what do you mean ? Surely a decent tuner would be able to get the ECU to work with your Jazz, what make of ECU is it ?

I had a chat to the owners/builders of the Spartan at a recent Twilight track day and they claimed they were getting 250bhp out of their supercharged Jazz motor (Spartan weighs only 500kgs)

i been considering this. only set backs i could have thought off. The CVT would not like this at all.
Would the GE brakes fit the GD? if so i would really put this into consideration.

Or the major one. Sell up and buy her a ep3r (daddy gets to take the baby home as well)

spoke to Bulletcars near the gold coast and they are the distributor for sprintex superchargers and also recommending their Xede piggyback for the tune... now just to figure out what else i can add to the package to squeeze more out of the L15A :)
type r injectors are on the list ... i'll be happy to get the power output of the spartan L15A

Hey guys, so i'm bringing this thread back! If all goes to plan, ill be ordering a sprintex kit for my jazz in 2 weeks.

Has anyone on here had any experience since june 2013?!?

As it stands, i'm under the impression the interceptor (electronics and piggy back) will be available for me in a couple of weeks.

IF all goes to plan, ill start a thread! If there is no interceptor available i may have to go for another option and look into tuners etc

One word - Haltech.

Do it right do it once.

Future proof ya self, incase you chase more power/mods.

Jungle Juice?

Torell

i did consider it, and will take that route if the piggyback doesnt become available. But im not looking for a fast jazz! so hopefully no other mods, 6 pounds should o

Piggyback won't work on GD/GE as far as general consensus is concerned [I'll be testing the theory end of this year or early next year with an AFC Neo].

With a Supercharger and an ECU far from optimised for it, Standalone is the way to go, you could go Adaptronic if Haltech/MoTeC is scary priced for you.

Torell
25-10-2014, 08:26 AM
what do you mean far from optimised?

and yeh i worry about tuning price + ecu from haltech / motec. $120 an hour ends up costing alot more. but runing the flex fuel sensor is something which would be cool, especially considering the jazz can run e85 as it is

DreadAngel

I meant the stock ECU is far from optimised :)
